Biography: i lived in edinburgh, scotland for 20+ years before moving to canterbury, england in february 2002. my first djing experience was as resident dj in the underground, blaire st, edinburgh, my last djing experience in edinburgh was at the opening night of finsternis and would have continued on if work down south hadn't intervened! i had thought of giving up djing at that point, but i was soon persuaded that there was a need for a more alternative night in canterbury. i have been encouraged by the scene generally and have made many more friends: fellow djs, musicians and people in the scene.
DJ history: (earliest first) the underground (an alternative club that ran wednesdays-fridays every week and played lots of alternative stuff, pre-dated the "goth" scene), everybody's (a mainstream nightclub), hades (edinburgh, five good friends that got together to run a weekly alternative club, it was a really fun night), the blitz (edinburgh, goth, early industrial and glam rock!), the mission (@ the rocking horse, resident dj on metal night!), tease-age (citrus, edinburgh), blitzkreig (my own club specialising in goth and industrial music), ascension (i played there in the early days, playing mostly ebm and industrial),finsternis, Infest 2006, and many other occasions! (hopefully some more interesting venues to add to my cv soon :)
Specialisation: EBM, industrial (electro, techno, power noise), dark ambient, neo folk, neo classical, synthpop, batcave, old school industrial, old school goth, etc.

Biography: Currently a student in Canterbury (graduating soon though... eep!) after moving here from Bradford, Yorkshire where I grew up. I'm mostly found wandering around Canterbury with headphones clamped to my head so large they border on the ridiculous but with which I can block out the humdrum and concentrate on my passion for music... Number of times this has led to nearly being run over currently stands at about 4! Have been involved with the UKC Rock Society since I arrived and have loved being one of their regular DJs for the past year and am always looking for people and places willing to let me play around with the music some more... I promise I wont break it!
DJ history: Various Rocksoc events (05/06 academic year), Amplify (Rocksoc's regular Friday night event started Sept 06), Various Rutherford College JCC events (College's 40th Birthday, St. Barry's Day) and a guest slot at 'Little Rob' (Friday Nights at UCCA, formally KIAD )
Specialisation: Rock, Metal, EBM, Noise, Hardcore Techno, Breakcore are favourites but I always like playing around with what people are expecting. Sometimes it fails miserably but it always keeps you on your toes.
